Care Bear for 1 hour

Tonight our ward had their chili cook off and trunk or treat activity. Candler made some yummy white chili (even though it wasn't recognized by the judges I think it's the best). We decided to put Savvy in her care bear costume for the activity. It was a little more difficult to put her in it than expected and the head was pretty poofy.

We took some pictures before we left.

Okay so we definitely need to move her up to her big girl car seat but the care bear head makes her look ridiculous.

Hmmm I don't think she is loving this

While at the chili dinner Candler and I were trying to juggle Savannah and eat at the same time and somehow Savvy got her hand on my bowl of chili, pulled, and that was the end of the care bear costume. It got chili all over the legs, all of my leg, and we figured that it wouldn't survive a trip in the washer. So Savvy got to rock her onesie for the rest of the night.

Candler was letting her drink water out of a cup and she loved it. However, when I went to take a picture of it she turned to look at me so the water ended up spilling on Candler's hand. Didn't realize I could capture water mid-spill!

After dinner the kids went outside for trunk or treating. The kids had a blast.

Such a fun night. Somehow we've missed this ward activity for the past few years either by my sis's wedding, work travel, or Candler working. Glad we made it!

  1. "didn't recognize Candler's white chili" It's because they don't "recognize" deliciousness! This is due to an "unsophisticated palate"...........:0)
