Pre-Christmas day 1

We got together with my Mom's side of the family for Christmas early this year. Emily and I talked last year and wanted to make sure that we stay on the same Christmas rotation with our family and our in-laws. Last year Emily ended up traveling on Christmas to make it to both family's festivities and I told her that is no way to spend a holiday. So this year our family met early for a fun weekend together.

The festivities began on Friday December 10th (yes if you remember correctly my previous 7 days went - closed on the house, moved into the house, MIL spent the night, friends over to unpack, work 3.5 hour conference call, two mini-play dates, wedding anniversary,...hmm was there any other craziness besides trying to finish Christmas shopping and all the wrapping?) and it was a busy 30 hours of fun.

Savvy was a little tender when we arrived over at my parent's house around 4pm. She had been to a play date earlier and protested her nap afterwards so combine lots of people with a tired baby and she isn't going to be a happy camper.

She never clings like this

Just rolling around

Having a little dinner

We only got to stay for a few hours on Friday so Savvy could get home and go to bed. She fell asleep in the car which ended up leading to an early wake up in the morning...so tired just thinking about this week. Great to see the family though ;-)
