For Candler's birthday his brother Tyler gave him a kite and naturally Sav wanted to go fly it. The night before Candler and Sav put the kite together - it was a giant parrot kite. So we put the parrot on top of Sav's dresser and it spent the night in her room. Today Candler and Sav went to the park to fly the kite while Cici and I stayed home to rest. According to Candler they got one good flight in before Sav noticed the swings and wanted to go play on the playground.
Funny story - while playing on the playground a young couple showed up with their daughter who was named Tessa. Sav is obsessed with the name Tessa. Almost all of her animals are named Tessa and if you ask her the name of a new toy animal, doll, etc. she will choose Tessa. Candler told the couple this and they had a good chuckle.
