Sav helped Candler put the star on top of the tree, and then we remembered why we have two stars - our tree isn't strong enough to support the light up one.We tried multiple options, but went back to the glittery star instead.
Then Candler and Sav put the train together while I worked on getting our Christmas village set up. We figured this might be the golden year for us to break out the train. Next year depending on how mobile baby girl is we might be able to put it out again. We bought it back in 2007 after having gone to Alaska with Candler's Gramma and Aunt Judy. We saw it was a train set with Alaska written on it and couldn't resist.
Around noon Tyler, Amelia, Olivia, and John came over to watch the OSU vs. UofM football game. Tyler made some delicious potato skins and we all rooted for our buckeyes (except for Amelia, but we still let her come to the party :-). After nap time Sav and Candler headed over to Hobby Lobby where Sav got two prizes - glow in the dark stars and a harmonica. The stars have since been installed above her bed so that she can make a wish on them as she goes to sleep. She is a big fan.
Last part of the celebration for Thanksgiving we went over to the Hatch's to have a leftover feast. We still came home with leftovers, but I think Sunday might be the last day we eat turkey for a while.
