Holiday House Painting

This year we attempted to carry on our tradition of painting houses for our holiday village "Eve-ville." Before we had Sav our village lived under our Christmas tree inside of our train track. Now the village and the train and too tempting for a toddler's hands so we decided to move the village to higher ground.

We had a couple friends over to help us paint our last 7-8 houses. We are so detailed in our painting that I think we only made progress on three of the houses, but it gives us some more painting to do next year. Candler looked up how much it would cost to buy some more houses and we were shocked that not only did the company go out of business, but the houses go for $40 or higher on eBay. Who knew that we made a wise investment when we purchased them for $2 each four years ago?
