Zoo with Grandma

My Mom had the day off work so she joined Sav and I on a trip to the zoo. It just so happened that the zoo was hosting 1600 visitors from an online school that day so it was a little busier than expected, but we still had a great time. Sav is definitely over her fear of animals. We went to the petting zoo and she held my hand and walked from one goat to the next petting it and saying "soft" (everything is soft to her, we've tried to do hard but soft is what she thinks the world is). Very precious.

She had a great time playing with my mom and I let her play more than usual since I had some extra hands with me. The polar bear exhibit has a new play area that Sav enjoyed. It has a lot of slopes like ice bergs and igloos which Sav thought were slides so she would try and slide down them, but just get stuck. She'll figure out more next time. She also loved the aquarium, which Candler attributes to her early exposure to salt water aquariums. Overall, a very fun day with Grandma and Mommy.
