Great G&G Visit

My Grandparents stopped by my parent's house on their way back from Hilton Head. We got to spend all Sunday with them and it was quite a treat. Sav still had a cold, but she enjoyed lots of time with Grandma, and once she warmed up to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa she started putting in her book requests. Such fun to see my family playing with Sav. We went to my parent's ward for Sacrament meeting and got to see my Dad as Bishop in his own ward. It was great to see my old ward family and catch up with a couple people. Strange how so much can change and stay the same - the kids I used to babysit as babies are now in high school...crazy!!

Then we came home and Candler fixed a little tomato bisque and chicken salad sandwiches for us to munch on until it was time for dinner. Sav snuggled in and read some books, played with her toys, and watched a little Peppa Pig. No nap, but she did well. Then when my Dad got home from church we had present time where Sav helped me open birthday presents and she got a couple little gifts too. Then we had some dinner and birthday cake. A very fun family day!
