Sav's first baby cousin was born on February 7th and she is so adorable! I had forgotten how cuddly and sleepy little newborns are. We met Tyler in the parking lot at the hospital and Sav immediately started running towards him. She is a big Uncle Tyler fan. On the way in she was talking about Amelia, Tyler, and Baby Olivia. We had been trying to get her to say Olivia for a while (while she wasn't watching the kids show Olivia was tricky) and she must have known that this was the day to get it right.
Sav was a trooper and enjoyed playing on the couch, exploring the bathroom, reading books with Uncle Tyler, and watching Peppa Pig. After we got her used to seeing the baby we cautiously let her touch her head, feet, arm, etc. and I was really happy that she didn't try to poke her in the eye like she normally does while identifying body parts.
