Out with the old, in with the new

Little Miss is growing so big, so fast. This was what I saw the other day when I looked up from my computer...

A little Savannah half way out of the swing!

Not that she wasn't still happy...Mom was just worried

So needless to say the swing had to come down since she can now swing her torso around. Also, when she kicked her legs (which happens every other second) she could make the swing bounce and stop swinging. Even though the specs say it goes up to 25lbs I think it was time to bring it down. So sad...that was my go to when she didn't want to take a nap.

In place of the swing is now the Jumperoo which Savvy has already taken a liking to.

Candler "taught" her how to jump by pulling down on her legs. She is starting to get it...



Today was an exhausting day at church for Savvy. She passed out sitting upright in my arms and then stayed completely out when we got home. So we left her in her carseat until she needed to eat. Who knows how long she would have slept...tempting...

In other exciting family news Candler has accepted a new job outside of his current employer. This job was quite the unexpected blessing - something that we had been praying for but just kept having faith that the right job at the right time would come along. A recruiter saw Candler's profile online, contacted him, and then the process got rolling. They liked him, he likes them, and in a few weeks he'll be working there. Yay! It's still here in town which we are excited about being able to put down more permanent roots and not worrying about if we would need to re-locate in spring when he graduates from grad school. Congrats Candler!!
